Your mission:
The Market Development & Events Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating the university’s market development and event activities across assigned regions. This role oversees the planning and execution of outreach initiatives, including education fairs, high school partnerships, and engagement events such as Open Days Information Sessions and Webinars.
The Team Leader ensures alignment between market development strategies, event execution, and recruitment objectives, while supervising the Market Development & Events Officers and ensuring consistent performance, effective territory management, and strong stakeholder relationships in strategic markets.
Tasks and Responsabilities:
Team Leadership & Performance Management
• Supervise and support the Market Development & Events Officers in their outreach and event activities.
• Set clear objectives and monitor performance against recruitment and outreach targets.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
• Coordinate team activities to ensure effective territory coverage and prioritization of strategic markets.
• Develop relationships with strategic high schools groups and high schools associations identified into the markets.
Market Development Strategy
• Define and implement market development strategies in collaboration with the Head of Students Recruitment.
• Identify strategic opportunities for partnerships with high schools, embassies, and community organizations.
• Oversee the identification and participation in high-impact education fairs and outreach opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to improve recruitment strategies and geographic focus.
Events Organization and Oversight
• Oversee the planning and execution of key engagement events such as Open Days, Webinars, Information Sessions, Campus tours, and in-school presentations.
• Ensure events are aligned with recruitment objectives and deliver high-quality prospective student experiences.
• Monitor event performance, attendance, and engagement metrics to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Ensure proper coordination of logistics, communication, and promotional materials in collaboration with Marketing.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth lead handover and follow-up processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support market-specific campaigns and event promotion strategies.
• Share market intelligence and insights with internal teams to support recruitment growth and lead conversion strategies.
Your Profile:
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Marketing, Education, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in student recruitment, outreach, international education, or a similar role.
• Experience organizing recruitment events, education fairs, or outreach initiatives.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Bilingual English
• Any other language is a plus
Preferred
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience managing teams or coordinating multi-market outreach initiatives.
• Experience working in an international higher education environment.
