AstraZeneca is a global, science-led, patient-focused biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialisation of prescription medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases. But we’re more than one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. We are on a journey to bring life-saving medicines to patients. Our role in contributing to decreasing mortality rates globally is clear – shaping the future by spotting a scientifically-led commercial opportunity and acting now to operationalize and scale it.
This is the place to drive change – to challenge the norm, take ownership, make quick decisions, and run with them. A global community, our strength is in our strong network – a two-way exchange of sharing and learning that enhances our ability to make an impact.
Here we are focused on finding better ways to partner with the business and help AstraZeneca achieve its ambitions. We think strategically, see the bigger picture, connect diverse areas and create solutions – all whilst harnessing disruptive new technologies.

The role is an active, contributing member of the Marketing Company Senior Management Team (SMT) with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate her/his team and foster effective cross-functional teamwork.
Together with other SMT members, s/he is responsible for the creation and flawless execution of the long, medium- and short-term access strategy for priority brands and accounts, and for co-creating a culture of commitment, innovation and entrepreneurship based on company values. The MA Director will also share accountability for the leadership, strategic direction, and business development of the local market, as well as for ensuring that the corresponding local market access activities are compliant, aligned with global strategy and sanctioned by the appropriate stakeholders.
