About the Role: Marine Sales Professional

As a Marine Product Specialist, you will help customers select the perfect new or used boat while delivering the exceptional customer experience that defines River Valley Marine.

This is a high-visibility, high-earning opportunity ideal for professionals with experience in:

Marine sales

Automotive sales

Powersports sales

RV sales

Commission-based retail sales

Luxury product sales

You will represent top boat brands and work directly with customers who share your passion for boating and the outdoor lifestyle.

Compensation:
$85,000 – $250,000+ annually (base wage plus commission and performance incentives)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (rotating schedule)

When working Saturday, receive a weekday off

Additional hours may be required based on customer needs and seasonal demand

This is a performance-driven sales position with substantial income potential for motivated professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Sell new and used boats, motors, and marine equipment

Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process

Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Follow River Valley Marine’s proven dealership sales process

Maintain strong product knowledge of boats, motors, accessories, and competing brands

Create a professional, welcoming showroom environment

Follow up with customers before, during, and after the sale

Work boat shows, dealership events, and promotional activities

Attend sales meetings and collaborate with dealership leadership

Maintain professional appearance and dealership standards

Provide flexible availability based on customer flow

Qualifications

Required:

Passion for boating, marine products, or outdoor recreation

Strong sales, communication, and closing skills

Customer-focused mindset with relationship-building ability

Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Professional, reliable, and team-focused

Preferred:

Previous sales experience (marine, automotive, RV, or powersports highly preferred)

Knowledge of boats, motors, and marine equipment

Experience with CRM or dealership systems

LightSpeed or LightSpeed EVO experience is a plus
