What You’ll Experience at River Valley Marine

As a Marine Product Specialist / Boat Sales Consultant, you’ll represent some of the top boat brands in the marine industry, working directly with customers who share your love of the water. You’ll help them find the perfect new or used boat while delivering the signature #RVPSExperience that sets us apart.

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation:
$85,000 – $250,000+ annually (base wage + incentive)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (rotating)

When you work a Saturday, you’ll receive a weekday off

Key Responsibilities

Sell new and used boats and marine products while delivering an exceptional customer experience

Follow River Valley’s proven dealership sales process

Build long-term relationships with customers before, during, and after the sale

Maintain strong product knowledge of boats, motors, and competing brands

Create a welcoming, clean, and professional showroom environment

Follow up with sold customers in a timely and professional manner

Work boat shows and select company events

Attend sales meetings and collaborate with the sales management team

Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dealership standards

Understand that customer flow may require staying beyond posted closing times

Qualifications We’re Looking For

Passion for boating, marine equipment, and the outdoor lifestyle

Strong sales, closing, and customer service skills

Previous sales experience preferred (marine, automotive, powersports a plus)

Knowledge of marine equipment highly desirable

LightSpeed / LightSpeed EVO experience is a plus

Self-motivated, reliable, and driven to improve

Professional, energetic, and team-oriented
