Job Description
Marine Buyer & Consignment Specialist
Used Boats | Consignment | Marine Expertise Required
Full-Time | Base + Incentives | $75,000–$95,000+
River Valley in Rochester is hiring a Marine Buyer & Consignment Specialist—a role built specifically for someone who knows boats, understands real-world boat values, and is comfortable working directly with private boat owners.
This is not entry level and not a desk-only job. If you come from a marine technician, boat sales, or dealership background and want to leverage your boat knowledge into a higher-earning, independent role, this position offers a strong long-term career path.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, buying, consigning, and selling used boats, working face-to-face with sellers and buyers while building a profitable, high-margin inventory pipeline.
River Valley is a Top 10 Marine Dealer in North America, representing leading boat brands and backed by 30+ years of trust, referrals, and repeat business. You won’t be chasing cold leads—this role is supported by strong inbound web leads, Facebook Marketplace activity, and an established customer base.
Why Marine Professionals Excel in This Role
Your boat knowledge directly drives your income
