We are in the animal health business, partnering with our clients in the areas of Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing to produce pharmaceuticals for both farm and companion animals. About the role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for leading our highly skilled Liquids team who are dedicated to manufacturing and packing of commercial animal pharmaceuticals.
The working hours for this role is Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm finish. The key focus areas are to lead, ensuring the production schedules are met and that all products are manufactured and packed efficiently to the correct quality, quantity, cost, and timeframes.
You will also undertake and lead specific projects associated with production and facilitate meetings for any quality issues within your department. You will be required to comply with pharmaceutical good manufacturing practices (GMP), principles and protocols and follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards in a safe and timely manner.

We are looking for someone with strong people management skills who would be described as a natural motivator, someone who can help others reach their full potential through collaborative working relationships. Given the way the team is set up, this leader will need to be a top-notch communicator and confident making critical decisions in a busy, ever-changing environment.
Naturally energetic and driven, you will have a keen focus on quality and attention to detail, essential in meeting the stringent pharmaceutical regulations we adhere to.
Your background, experience and attributes will include:
Proven supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment.
The ability to motivate and build a strong culture of compliance and accountability within your team
Significant experience working in a manufacturing environment (5 + years)
Strong working knowledge of GMP & preferably FDA manufacturing regulations
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
The ability to manage resources to meet changing priorities.
Strong computer literacy with the ability to pick up new packages and processes easily.
Strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data.
Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
