Manufacturing Small Parts Shipping Technician

We are currently hiring Manufacturing & Production Technicians to perform general assembly in our Groveland, FL manufacturing facility. Join us if you are interested in working in a fast paced, financially sound manufacturing environment.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

• Some overtime required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

• Materials Handling:

• Pull parts, package, and set up in Fedex system for shipping.

• Storage and Organization:

• Analyze current inventory layout and get rid of old/obsolete inventory to free up plant space for better organization of current inventory.

• Maintain clean and safe racking

• Safety sensitive position

• Liaison:

• Work with IT and Engineering teams to implement inventory tracking

• Work with Purchasing to verify exceptions

• Assist with making transfer decisions

• Perform count audits, assist with inventory counts

• Coordinate with similar teams at other plants to ensure material/supply parts are not duplicated.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use various hand and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently

• Stand for long periods

• Basic mathematical skills

• Proficient in English

• Excellent data entry and organizational skills

• Very close attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift 40+lbs independently

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Experience with MS office, proficiency in Excel

• EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
