About our Manufacturing Shop Technician

Responsibilities
Soldering components, wiring circuits, and installing parts on circuit boards
Set up and calibrate electronics systems
Troubleshoot issues with electronics and make necessary repairs at board level
Identify defects and ensure that each component meets quality standards
These are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.

Qualifications
Ability to operate tools such as multimeters, 4-20 mA sources, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, and other basic hand tools
Familiarity with circuitry, wiring, and splicing of wires
Basic understanding of 4-20mA signals
Experience with quality control is a plus

GDS Corp is a subsidiary of Welker, Inc. This is an in-office, full time position working Monday – Friday. The candidate will be working at the GDS Corp office in League City, TX.
