Manufacturing & Production - Duct CSU Machine Operator - SECOND SHIFT

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing & Production Technician for our Duct CSU Machine to perform general assembly in our Groveland, FL manufacturing facility. Join us if you are interested in working in a fast paced, financially sound manufacturing environment.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. but training on 1st shift Monday-Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

• Some overtime required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

· Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material

· Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work order

· Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls

· Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls

· Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications, notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources

· Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs

· Documents actions by completing production and quality logs

· Contributes to team effort working in other areas as neede

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use various hand and power tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently

• Stand for long periods

• Basic mathematical skills

• Proficient in English

PREFERRED:

· 3 to 4 years work experience (preferred)

· Attention to detail, safety and quality.

· Ability to work with controls and quality check instruments.

· Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial.

· Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions.

· Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins.

· Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills

· Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing on concrete for extended periods of time.

· Physical stamina and strength

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

SALARY:
