Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing IT Lead is a hands-on role responsible for bridging plant operations, manufacturing systems, and enterprise technology. This position focuses on ensuring that technology deployed in manufacturing environments supports real production needs and operates reliably on the factory floor. The Manufacturing IT Lead works closely with plant leadership, controls engineers, SAP teams, and vendors to translate operational requirements into technical execution.

This role is ideal for someone who understands manufacturing workflows and enjoys being involved directly in plant activities rather than operating solely from a corporate IT environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary IT point of contact for assigned manufacturing plantsSupport and enhance SAP and non SAP manufacturing systems used on the shop floorWork directly with plant operations, engineering, and maintenance teamsLead and coordinate manufacturing technology initiatives and small delivery teamsTroubleshoot system and integration issues impacting productionSupport system rollouts, upgrades, and new line implementationsDocument plant technology architecture and system dependenciesEnsure solutions are practical, maintainable, and aligned with plant realities
