Our client manufactures transportation window systems for recreational vehicles, transit and bus vehicles and related vehicle safety products. Located in central Wisconsin with an abundance of outdoor attractions that include hunting, fishing, skiing and fresh air. The Manufacturing reports to the Plant Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide problem resolution to ensure product quality, process consistency and timely production results. Lead work flow improvements through Lean Manufacturing methods such as 5S. Plan facility layouts to optimize work flow and develop proper set-up techniques. Assist in the procurement of tooling and fixtures.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors in Engineering and 1 plus year or an Associate in Engineering and 3 plus years experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving skill. Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications and knowledge of ERP or MRP systems. Any knowledge of window systems is a plus. Willingness to some travel as needed.
