What You’ll Get to Do

The Manufacturing Engineer is focused on moving the organization towards a common systems and processes philosophy within the manufacturing plant.

This role is perfect for an individual who wants to be responsible for the implementation of corrective actions, proactive quality, and efficiency improvement processes. A vital member of the Operational Excellence Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Create and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA’s, control plans, work instructions, time studies and line balancing.

• Tool/Machine and process set-up, verification, and troubleshooting.

• Material flow and layout best practices.

• Responsible for the implementation of corrective actions and proactive quality and efficiency improvement processes.

• Lead the development (or selection) of processing best practices based on rigorous data analysis and the implementation of such processes across the organization ensuring processes are effective and efficient.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial Engineering or related field is required

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience dealing with machinery, PM’s

• Aptitude to provide operational training and influence others towards achieving objectives

• Proficiency to perform thorough root cause analysis: A3 Thinking and DMAIC problem-solving

• Understanding and practical application of continuous improvement methods – Lean Sigma certification desirable

Position Pay Range
$75,000—$90,000 USD
