Job Description
OUR CLIENT is a software development company delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions for enterprise and e-commerce clients, often involving integrations with CMS, search, and ERP systems. They are looking for a Manual QA Engineer.
Responsibilities
• Execute thorough manual testing across the e-commerce platform, validating user flows, edge cases, and data-driven scenarios;
• Use browser dev tools extensively (network tab, console, performance insights) to analyze issues, verify API calls, and understand how the frontend interacts with external systems;
• Follow and extend structured smoke-test checklists that support key functionality before and after releases;
• Maintain and improve written test documentation so any QA team member can follow defined scenarios consistently;
• Review acceptance criteria and provide feedback or refinements when needed;
• Understand how integrated systems work (Algolia, Uniform CMS, Salesforce) to better design test scenarios and validate complex behaviors such as user roles, credit-block logic, product data flow, and content variations;
• Assist during releases by testing bug fixes, verifying resolved issues, and confirming system readiness;
• Collaborate closely with the Test Automation Engineer to ensure manual and automated coverage complement each other.
Technical Skills & Experience
• Strong proficiency in manual web testing for modern React/Next.js applications;
• Skilled in using browser developer tools to inspect network traffic, debug asynchronous behavior, and validate API responses;
• Experience with Salesforce workflows, user permissions, and business logic relevant for testing B2B features;
• Comfortable working with CMS-driven environments; able to read content models, validate data consistency, and understand how frontend rendering depends on structured content;
• API testing knowledge (e.g., Postman) is beneficial but not required;
• Familiarity with search-driven experiences (Algolia or similar) is an advantage but not mandatory to operate at a high level;
• Solid understanding of responsive UI behavior, component states, and design-system–based layouts.
This is a contract-based position with possibility of extension depending on project needs.
The salary is up to 3305 Eur gross/monthly.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
