Job Purpose

Our client is an industry leaders in the publishing and horse racing industry providing innovative thinking and exciting services to customers over the last decade and more!

The full suite of digital solutions includes world-class mobile and web application development which includes publishing, data, horse betting, tracking, live streaming, video events and much more.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Specialist with strong professional experience who is eager to learn automation at some point to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by performing manual testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications; Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover various scenarios and functionalities.

• Manual Testing: Execute test cases and document test results, including defect tracking and reporting; Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features; Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by test cases.

• Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, report, and prioritize software defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in resolving issues.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications, Skills and Expertise

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Manual QA Specialist (or similar position)

• Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex test cases.

• Basic understanding of programming concepts..

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

• Very good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experienced working in an Agile environment.
