Do you want to actively shape the energy transition and develop innovative hardware solutions for sustainable heating systems? Then dive into the world of heat pump technology and become part of a team that is redefining the future of heat supply. Here you have the unique opportunity to make a real contribution from conception to prototype construction and transform your ideas into tangible results.

• During your internship you will contribute to the development of a new generation of storage systems for heat pumps and other heat generators.
• You will design development prototypes, participate in prototype construction, and oversee subsequent test runs.
• Furthermore, you will assess product requirements in the context of the overall heating system and derive the corresponding requirements.
• Finally, you will work in interdisciplinary teams with other departments and locations.

• Education: studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Building Services Engineering, Process Engineering or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: experience with CAD, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics is desirable
• Personality and Working Practice: you excel at solving problems with creative, out-of-the-box thinking, collaborating as a motivated team player, and working in a structured and independent manner
• Work Routine: your on-site presence is required (office and sample building)
• Languages: very good in English and good in German

Start: July 2026

Duration: 3 - 4 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
