YOUR ROLE
As a Managing Security Consultant within Offensive Security, you will lead the consulting team across both delivery and commercial outcomes, ensuring high-quality engagements, strong client relationships, and sustainable practice growth. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, overseeing delivery standards, and contributing to the strategic direction of the offensive security capability. This role balances technical oversight, people leadership, and commercial accountability, positioning you as a key leader within the broader cyber practice.
YOU’LL
• Lead and manage a team of offensive security consultants across all levels
• Drive delivery quality, ensuring engagements are well-scoped and executed
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical and client issues
• Lead and support pre-sales activities including scoping, proposals, and pricing
• Manage team utilisation, pipeline visibility, and resourcing
• Contribute to offensive security strategy, capability uplift, and go-to-market
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged team culture
• Support thought leadership, community engagement, and industry presence
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align delivery and commercial outcomes
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Strong background in offensive security at senior or principal level
• Technical credibility across offensive security domains (e.g. OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK)
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams
• Strong commercial acumen including utilisation, pricing, and delivery risk
• Experience in pre-sales, client engagement, and stakeholder management
• Ability to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders including CISOs
• Strong decision-making capability balancing client, team, and commercial needs
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience, e.g. OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CRTO, CRTP or similar
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
