About the job:
Role Overview
As a Managing Director within our Securitized Products group, you will serve as a senior leader responsible for driving the strategic expansion of our ABS platform. This dual-focus role requires a high-level blend of technical structuring expertise and strategic ratings advisory. You will be tasked with identifying high-growth client targets, pioneering new asset classes, and leading the execution of complex, multi-billion dollar securitization programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Growth & Origination: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to capture market share. Identify and cultivate relationships with key client targets to deepen "wallet share" across the securitized products spectrum.
• Product Innovation: Lead the firm’s expansion into esoteric ABS markets and emerging asset classes.
• Structural Engineering: Oversee the end-to-end structuring of diverse asset types, ensuring optimal capital treatment and investor appeal through innovative structural features.
• Ratings Advisory: Provide senior-level advisory to clients on rating agency methodologies. Manage the rating process to achieve optimal credit execution and pricing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between internal desks (Sales, Trading, and Research) and overseas business partners to facilitate global deal flow.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior staff on complex asset types, structural nuances, and the evolving regulatory landscape of securitization.
Qualifications
• Experience: 15+ years in Investment Banking or Structured Finance, with a significant portion in a senior leadership or Managing Director capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of cash flow modeling, legal documentation, and the credit rating process for both vanilla and esoteric ABS.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Leadership: Exceptional track record of managing high-performing teams and navigating complex, global internal environments.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
