We have a dedicated focus on Energy & Utilities, and we are poised for growth in this sector. Therefore, as a Managing Consultant within our Energy & Utilities practice, you will play a crucial role in Denmark and the Nordics with shaping the future of energy transition. You will be a key player together with our partner responsible for Energy & Utilities and your expertise will help guide key strategic decisions, lead transformational projects, and build long-lasting relationships with top-tier clients in the energy sector. You will be responsible for driving business development, delivering complex consulting engagements, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage client proposals, dialogues and engagements across the energy, ensuring delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions 
• Develop, describe, propose and implement strategies that drive transformation in the changing landscape of energy and utilities industries, focusing on areas such as strategy, decarbonization, digitalization, and sustainability 
• Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and go-to expert for clients’ strategic challenges 
• Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, identifying new opportunities and driving business development efforts 
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development 
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure PA Consulting remains a leader in energy and utilities consulting 
• Actively contribute to thought leadership, publishing insights, whitepapers, and participating in speaking opportunities 
• You will have and experience a true cross-country collaboration – especially with our Global units and across PA Consulting’s network to bring innovative solutions to clients. 

• You will take a true senior role and therefore Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in consulting is preferable, with a focus on the energy & utilities, infrastructure or telecom sector, including experience in leadership roles 
• In-depth knowledge of energy transition, regulation, infrastructure assets, renewable energy and digital transformation 
• Strong track record of scoping and delivering large-scale projects that drive measurable impact for clients 
• Excellent business development skills, with the ability to identify, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities 
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and managing teams to success 
• Must speak fluent Danish language
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-makers 
• Fluent with reading and writing Danish and proficiency in English
