About the Role
This role will sit under Brand Visual Merchandising, reporting into the Sr. Manager of Adult Brand VM. The role serves as Manager for brand VM across both Specialty and Outlet channels. Primary focus will be managing the execution of all brand visual strategies within the Adult sub-brand, laser focused on amplifying our brand Big Ideas, key investments, assortment mapping, and art direction. This role will also have a supporting function in broader retail experience deliverables by supporting the Adult VM Lead in their close partnership with Gap Inc store design and Field VM teams.
The ideal candidate is skilled in balancing a high-level of deliverables with competing timelines, while articulating product merchandising and design strategies into compelling storytelling across retail/showroom environments.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy
• Support Adult VM Lead in executing visual product strategies that support our brand ‘Big Ideas’ and key investments across specialty and outlet channels.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration through close partnerships with Creative/Styling Lead, Brand Marketing, Product Design and Merchandising.
• Execute retail space-planning strategies for Adult VM that amplifies our core product destinations, as well as emerging growth drivers - while remaining lockstep with Field Visual team.
Product Presentation
• Execute product presentation throughout internal brand milestones, including but not limited to, monthly visual floor-set, line-adoption, product showrooms and content management for the brand visual presentation guide.
• Foster a ‘One Team’ approach amongst the brand visual team, driving creative agility and excellence throughout all deliverables.
• Promote product knowledge and training opportunities between Brand and Field visual teams – strengthening brand awareness with insights to key investments, product storytelling and our brand Big Ideas.
Who You Are
SKILLS
• Ability to read, create, and execute visual layouts and schematics.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign),
• Strong understanding of color, lighting, and spatial arrangement to create appealing and cohesive displays.
• Ability to analyze fashion or retail trends and translate them into actionable presentations.
• Able to manage high degree of competing deliverables with conflicting timelines.
• Exceptionally organized.
• Collaborative team player with emphasis on high-performing dynamic.
