Team Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

We are looking for a Manager to lead strategic Artificial Intelligence initiatives, focusing on high-impact product and project management. This role will be instrumental in delivering tangible, impactful, and measurable results for internal and external stakeholders, applying deep expertise in strategic consulting, data analysis, technology, and operational excellence.

The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of AI projects, managing their execution with a strong focus on technical direction and quality assurance. Drawing from experience in data-driven strategy, product development, and cross-functional collaboration, this person will help solve complex business challenges and drive sustainable, profitable growth through innovative AI solutions.

Specific responsibilities includes:

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI-based products, from ideation to delivery. 
• Build, maintain, and evolve the AI project pipeline, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities. 
• Manage AI-focused projects with a strong emphasis on technical direction, quality assurance (QA), and delivery governance. 
• Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value and technical feasibility. 
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and internal stakeholders. 
• Define and monitor performance metrics and the impact of AI models. 
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and ethical AI policies. 
• Facilitate alignment meetings and agile rituals such as kickoffs and regular check-ins. 
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in data and AI solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Master’s Degree in related fields a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in managing AI products or projects.
• Familiarity with platforms, architecture, and technologies of AI.
• Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with latest market and industry innovation trends.
• Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.
• Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
• Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and PM frameworks.
• Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
