Manager, Technology Consulting (Banking Systems & Enterprise Architecture)

As a corporate and business strategy consultant at PwC, you will analyse client needs, provide consulting services across different strategic areas, and offer guidance and support to help clients develop and implement effective strategies that align with their business objectives and drive growth.

We are looking for an experienced Manager to support large-scale technology transformation programs for leading financial institutions. The role focuses on enterprise architecture, solution design, platform selection, and definition of target IT landscapes across core banking, CRM, digital channels, and data platforms.

What You Will Do

Architecture & Technology Strategy

· Develop and review target architecture as part of enterprise technology strategy.

· Analyze As-Is and define To-Be architecture, including roadmaps and transformation plans.

· Participate in architecture governance and ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy.

Platform Selection & Conceptual Design

· Lead platform selection based on architectural fit, capabilities, and integration requirements.

· Drive conceptual design for digital channels, CRM platforms, and Data Management Solutions.

Solution Architecture Delivery

· Lead architecture review and design for Core Banking Systems, CRM, and digital channels.

· Prepare and validate functional requirements and high-level solution designs.

· Develop Enterprise Architecture artifacts using TOGAF, BIAN, ArchiMate.

Collaboration & Client Engagement

· Coordinate work across consulting teams and clients' representatives (both business and IT).

· Support presales (RFP/RFI, solution pitching, estimation, proposals).

· Mentor junior team members and build strong relationships with client stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

· 10+ years in IT and/or consulting, with significant experience in banking or financial services.

· Proven experience in at least two of the following:

• Requirements definition or implementation of Core Banking Systems

• Design/implementation of CRM and front solutions

• Architecture of digital banking channels

· Strong background in designing architectures for banking systems (applications, integration, data).

· Experience preparing requirements and solution specifications (elicitation, analysis, use cases, user stories).

· Knowledge of TOGAF, BIAN, ArchiMate.

· Understanding of banking products and processes.

· Excellent analytical and communication skills.

· Experience in multi-vendor environments.

· Fluency in Russian, Kazakh, English (at least B1-B2).

Nice to Have

· Experience with IT strategy, technology standards, and transformation roadmaps.

· Knowledge of cloud architectures, APIs, microservices, event-driven approaches.

· Experience with major banking platforms (Temenos, Diasoft, NeoFlex, Colvir, FLEXCUBE, etc.).

· Background in management consulting / Big Four.

· Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, SAFe.
