Role Summary and Impact

As the Manager, Talent Management (Learning & Organisational Development included) for WPP Media in Indonesia, you will be instrumental in supporting and driving our talent agenda. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programs, and initiatives related to talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. You will leverage your expertise to cultivate a high-performing culture, enhance employee capabilities, foster engagement, and ensure WPP Media has the right talent in the right roles to achieve its strategic objectives in Indonesia.

Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Talent Management Support: Support the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive talent management strategies and frameworks, including talent assessment, succession planning, career pathing, and high-potential identification programs, aligned with business goals.

• Learning & Development (L&D): Lead the identification of learning needs, and the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning programs, workshops, and development initiatives across all levels of the organization (individual contributors, managers, leaders).

• Organizational Development (OD) & Effectiveness: Drive initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, including culture building, team effectiveness, and organizational design principles, and support change management efforts.

• Performance Management: Oversee the end-to-end performance management cycle, including goal setting, continuous feedback, performance reviews, and development planning, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.

• Leadership & Management Development: Create and implement programs focused on enhancing leadership capabilities, manager effectiveness, and coaching skills to foster a strong leadership pipeline.

• Employee Engagement: Develop and execute employee engagement strategies and initiatives, including managing company-wide talent events, implementing and analyzing employee surveys, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

• Talent Analytics & Insights: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent programs, identify trends, and provide insights to inform talent strategies and decision-making.

• HR Project & Program Leadership: Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects related to talent, culture, and organizational design, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Consulting: Partner closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and global/regional HR teams to understand talent needs, provide expert advice, and ensure talent initiatives are integrated and effective.

• Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement in all talent processes and practices, staying abreast of industry best practices and innovative solutions.

What You Will Need

• Experience: Approximately 6+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong specialization in Talent Management, Learning & Development, and/or Organizational Development, ideally within a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed organization.

• Expertise: Proven ability to design, implement, and manage end-to-end talent programs, including performance management, succession planning, leadership development, learning initiatives, and employee engagement activities.

• Program Design & Facilitation: Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering engaging and effective learning and development programs and workshops.

• Change Management: Solid understanding and practical application of change management principles to support organizational transformations and talent initiatives.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify talent trends, measure program effectiveness, and translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.

• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Resilience: Resilience to thrive in a matrixed, high-paced environment where priorities are constantly shifting.

• Local Market Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local employment market dynamics and cultural nuances in Indonesia relevant to talent attraction, development, and retention.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
