To develop and lead country Sustainability,Environmental and Climate risk management functions, and models for implementation of sustainability monitoring and management in the bank. .To provide specialist advice and guidance to country to become a more sustainable and socially responsible organisation. To develop the metrics for the country business to measure and monitor the impact of Sustainability projects. To ensure compliance to ESG frameworks and E&S lending principles. To monitor and manage financials risk (excluding credit risk) in the bank to ensure sound practices and sustainable resource management.
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or related
• Preferably experience in regulatory engagement and reporting environment
• ACI Dealing Certificate or a Financial Risk Management certificate will be advantageous
Experience: 
• 5-8 years: Financial services experience, in a risk related role.
• Proven track record of specialist experience in the field of Sustainability and/or financial risks and providing sound advice and guidance to senior leaders would be required
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead the Bank’s Sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and climate risk management on behalf of the NamibiaSocial and Ethics Committee to ensure alignment to corporate strategy and the ESG Framework.
• Advise on best practice processes and systems for the Bank to effectively monitor and control adherence, conformance and compliance to all Sustainability policies and standards as per the approved Risk Management Toolbox to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory laws.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Functional Framework - covering strategy, policy, process, procedures, standards, guidelines, training, objectives, metrics and governance - to ensure consistency of implementation and the alignment to regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Provide specialised advice, to senior leaders within the Bank, on all minimum standards, strategies, projects, plans, initiatives, reporting and other relevant activities to ensure all business areas effectively comply with the required internal standards and legislative requirements as it pertains to Sustainable Development and Responsible Banking.
• Deliver holistically on all the regulatory and internal reporting requirements for Sustainability. Produce aggregated and reliable Sustainable Development reports and formulate pertinent observations to enable the effectiveness of critical business decisions and reporting.
