Job Description

The Manager, Strategic Partnerships supports the development, execution, and day-to-day management of organizational partnerships that advance the association’s mission, programs, and revenue objectives. This role focuses on relationship management, partner activation, and coordination across internal teams to ensure partners receive clear value and consistent engagement. The Manager works closely with senior leadership to support partnership growth and retention.

Your Core Contributions to the Team

Partnership Development

Support the identification and cultivation of new partnership opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.

Assist in the development of partnership proposals, agreements, and renewal materials.

Maintain accurate documentation of partnership benefits, deliverables, and timelines.

Sponsorship Lead Generation & Revenue

Own sponsorship lead generation efforts across digital campaigns, events, content, and outbound marketing initiatives.

Generate, qualify, and track sponsorship leads through marketing programs and sales outreach.

Support sponsorship sales by developing prospect lists, outreach materials, and follow-up campaigns.

Collaborate with leadership to meet or exceed sponsorship revenue goals.

Track sponsorship pipeline activity and report on lead performance, conversion, and revenue impact.

Relationship Management

Serve as the primary contact for assigned partners, ensuring timely communication and follow-through.

Support partner onboarding and activation across education, marketing, events, and digital platforms.

Ensure partners understand and effectively utilize their benefits.

Execution & Coordination

Coordinate with internal teams to deliver partnership benefits accurately and on schedule.

Support sponsorship fulfillment for events, programs, and initiatives.

Track deliverables and confirm commitments are met for both partners and the association.

Revenue & Performance Support

Manage partnership renewals, upgrades, and cross-promotional opportunities.

Track partnership performance, engagement metrics, and revenue-related activity.

Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership.

Market Awareness & Representation

Stay informed on trends within commercial real estate and professional associations.

Represent the association in partner meetings, virtual presentations, and select industry events.

Gather partner feedback and share insights with internal stakeholders.

Work Environment

This position may require limited travel for partner meetings, conferences, or association events. The role works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams and is typically an individual contributor role.

About You

Qualifications

      Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

4–6 years of experience in partnerships, sponsorships, account management, or business development.

Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Professional presence when engaging with external partners.

      Preferred

Experience working within a professional association, nonprofit, or membership organization.

Familiarity with commercial real estate, finance, or a related industry.

Proven experience supporting sponsorships, events, or education-based partnerships.
