Walmart is looking for a Manager I, Specialty Compliance and Ethics Compliance, to join our Privacy Digital Citizenship team based out of Bentonville, AR. Our Legal, Compliance, and Ethics teams ensure we make decisions that are not only good for our customers, but also lawful and ethical. We need experts to make sure our stores follow all laws and regulations. More than that, we need to work together to make sure we operate according to our high ethical standards.

Location: This position will be fully onsite in Bentonville, AR

You will make an impact by…

• Performing scheduled and ad hoc audits based on government, third party, and internal resources to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, industry, and company standards.

• Managing the consistency of compliance and ethical questions and issues via inbox duties.

• Identifying, translating, and creating new communication templates for customer interactions and privacy request processing.

• Monitoring laws and regulations for specified areas; researching laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; drafting and updating policies and standard operating procedures with input from leadership.

• Identifying and reporting compliance concerns by identifying trends and concerns; collecting necessary data; creating reports on findings; communicating findings to senior management; recommending resolutions to the concerns; and supporting follow up with field and home office based on findings in reports.

• Engaging with assets and production support teams on the identification, tracking, and completion of tasks necessary to maintain compliance with required deadlines and processing SLAs.

• Researching proposed regulatory issues to serve as a subject matter expert to the business by managing tools and resources required to obtain relevant information.

• You have experience with Privacy Law

• You have a CIPP/US AND/OR CIPM Certifications (International Association of Privacy Professionals

• You have previous project management experience, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple detailed and complex project plans and timelines simultaneously

• You have interpersonal and presentation skills, including exceptional written communication skills with the ability to communicate detailed and complex information in an accurate and understandable manner

• You can multitask and consider yourself to be adaptable and skilled within different applications

• You have previous experience working with different stakeholders and partner teams

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area

• 2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office
