We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Manager (Outbound Team) to establish, lead, and mentor our top-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) targeting the US market.
This position plays a vital role in expanding our sales pipeline. You will take full ownership of the team’s lead generation targets, create innovative strategies, and guide your team toward achieving success. The ideal candidate possesses a solid background in B2B SaaS sales, demonstrated leadership skills, and a strong passion for nurturing high-performing teams in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, develop, lead, and mentor a high-performing SDR team. Continuously guide the team, encourage the adoption of best practices, and maintain strong motivation to surpass targets.
• Strategy & Execution: Create and implement innovative outbound lead generation strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Performance Management: Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team. Deliver regular performance updates at both individual and team levels, along with accurate forecasting of monthly and quarterly quota achievements.
• Process Optimization: Manage and improve all outbound processes and activities. Develop effective lead nurturing workflows to ensure a steady stream of qualified prospects.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams. Work with Sales to enhance qualification processes and partner with Marketing to develop targeted messaging for outreach.
• Training: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of the SDR team.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B SaaS, including at least 2 years in an SDR Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Market Focus: Proven track record managing SDR teams focused on the US market is mandatory.
• Shift & Location: Willingness to work US Central time zone shifts from our Bangalore office.
• Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving exceptional outbound sales development results and meeting sales targets within enterprise accounts (companies with over 5,000 employees).
• Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to motivate and drive the team.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
• Solid understanding of sales performance metrics.
• Attitude:
• Highly motivated with a strong ambition for growth and success.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
• Technical: Experience with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot or Salesforce) and other sales tools.
• Account Intent: Familiarity with ABM platforms or intent data platforms (such as Demandbase, 6sense, etc.) is advantageous.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
