Manager - Roads Design (MAS7)

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of developing world-class leisure and entertainment destinations. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Manager - Roads Design to join our engineering team. This role is essential in overseeing the design and development of road infrastructure that supports the ambitious growth of Qiddiya. You will be responsible for ensuring that our road designs meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for roadway systems, including layout, grading, drainage, and signage, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams of engineers and consultants, facilitating collaboration and innovation.
• Develop and review design documents, reports, and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Engage with stakeholders such as project managers, local authorities, and external partners to align project goals and gather input.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate conditions and progress, making adjustments to designs as necessary.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Promote and implement sustainable design practices in all aspects of road planning and development.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in road design technology to continually incorporate innovative practices into projects.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in road design and civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Proven experience managing teams and leading engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Proficient in CAD software and design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles, road design standards, and traffic management.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
