The Manager, Systems & Reporting, is a senior individual contributor within the central Program Management team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Process & Frameworks. This role is responsible for owning the design, evolution, and governance of enterprise program reporting and tracking systems that enable effective decision-making, operational excellence, and Games-time readiness across LA28.

This position plays a critical leadership role, driving solution architecture, technical standards, and adoption across complex, cross-functional programs. The Manager, Systems & Reporting, will be instrumental in shaping and delivering Games-time reporting capabilities for the Main Operations Center (MOC), ensuring data integrity, clarity, and reliability during peak operational periods.

The ideal candidate is a technical thought partner and problem-solver, with deep expertise in Smartsheet and integrated reporting solutions, who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys translating complex, often competing inputs into scalable, sustainable, and user-centered solutions.

Building trusted relationships across program teams, functional leadership, and external partners is central to success in this role. The Manager, Systems & Reporting, acts as a connector and influencer, aligning stakeholders around shared solutions, driving process adherence, and championing continuous improvement across LA28 delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end design, development, and lifecycle management of Smartsheet-based systems supporting enterprise program tracking, reporting, and automation

• Lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and flexible technical solutions that evolve alongside business needs from planning through Games-time operations

• Serve as a strategic partner to program and functional teams, translating requirements into actionable system designs and reporting frameworks

• Architect and maintain integrations between Smartsheet and other enterprise systems to enable accurate, real-time insights

• Define, standardize, and govern key performance indicators (KPIs) to support executive visibility and operational decision-making

• Play a central role in developing and delivering Games-time reporting for the Main Operations Center, ensuring readiness, reliability, and clarity under high-pressure conditions

• Identify systemic inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, and reporting methodologies

• Champion data quality, solution adoption, and disciplined process adherence across LA28 programs

• Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on reporting best practices, system capabilities, and emerging opportunities

Background and Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and governing Smartsheet-based technical solutions in complex organizational environments

• Proven experience operating as a senior individual contributor, influencing outcomes without direct authority

• Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, system design, and operational reporting

• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to assess business needs, challenge assumptions, and deliver practical, high-impact solutions

• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs or major events strongly preferred

Core Competencies & Expectations:

• Exceptional ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, managing multiple initiatives across competing timelines

• Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate program performance and identify risks, trends, and opportunities

• Sound judgment, including knowing when and how to escalate issues appropriately

• Adaptability and resilience in dynamic, fast-changing environments

• Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared solutions

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.

• The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

• The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.

• Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.

• Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
