General information:
In our “Bachelor & Master” department, we shape the academic journey of our students by coordinating our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, as well as our interdisciplinary General Studies offerings.
Our business and economics programs attract ambitious national and international students who strive for academic excellence. Alongside a strong foundation in General Management, we offer specialized tracks in Business Psychology, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Business Analytics—preparing graduates to thrive in a dynamic global environment. Courses are taught in English (primarily) and German, reflecting the international character of our programs.
You will become part of a dedicated, collaborative, and engaged small team. In this role, you will work closely with professors, external lecturers, and students, gaining insights into academic operations while contributing to our WHU community.
Ths part-time position (50%) is initially offered on a one-year contract, with strong prospects for extension or transition into a permanent role
Your mission:
• Coordinating courses and managing all related processes to ensure smooth academic operations
• Overseeing the implementation, analysis, and documentation of program-related surveys and evaluations
• Advising and supporting students on organizational and study-related matters, particularly regarding course registration and course choices
• Providing administrative guidance and coordination for external lecturers
• Collaborating closely with professors as well as with relevant academic and administrative departments across the university
• Contributing to projects and initiatives within program coordination, helping to continuously refine, develop, and innovate our program management processes
Your profile:
• Relevant educational background, preferably an academic degree.
• Very good communication skills in German and English
• Strong service and customer orientation when dealing with students and teaching staff
• Confident use of MS Office (e.g. Teams, Excel)
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Ideally, experience with campus management and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle)
• Flexibility and resilience
