The Mastercard Authentication Program is responsible for consumer authentication across both in-store and e-commerce transactions. This role’s primary purpose is to commercialize, manage, and deliver best-in-class authentication products that increase adoption, penetration, and revenue for Mastercard. The portfolio includes ID Check (3DS), Token Authentication Service, the Token Authentication Framework, Biometric Checkout, and related extensions to these core solutions.
Role
The ideal candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and actively support the acceleration of Authentication solutions in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.
This role will support the continuous development of all Authentication solutions, assess the company's product performance, and help develop its long-term strategic plans for future authentication product lines. You will collaborate to identify unique selling propositions (USP), develop product solutions working with Global, Regional and Market stakeholders, prioritize features and functionality needed for the markets, and create a go-to-market plan for LAC.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Collaborate with the Authentication LAC divisions to support adoption and optimization efforts of our solutions by leading meetings with acquirers, issuers and merchants to optimize product performance and enable greater benefits for customers and the ecosystem.
• Product Definition: Finalize the Product to launch with the Legal, Privacy, Franchise and Pricing teams will ensure that we have a viable product that meets market needs and regulatory requirements, including Product Council (Studio), partnering with regional team to manage the process to deliver ongoing innovation and enhancements.
• Sales Enablement, Market Activation and Customer Engagement: Team up with Commercialization and Regional teams to develop and validate go-to-market materials. Also, work with Account Managers and Regional teams to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers, and industry stakeholders.
• Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level, manage a quantified scorecard continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, and optimize product performance, including data Analysis and Reporting to guide strategic decisions.
• Act as an expert, advocate for, and champion designated to internal and external stakeholders by clearly articulating the Authentication solutions value proposition.
• Structure, perform, and synthesize analysis to uncover insights demonstrating the value and performance of Authentication solutions and supporting our client recommendations.
Key Qualifications:
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate numbers into insights and tell a story behind them.
• Product management experience.
• Domain experience in authentication in the digital environment is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable leveraging data to monitor performance and identify opportunities, create plans to drive usage and revenues, and prioritize resources to deliver against the plan.
• Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Open and creative mindset; comfortable with uncertainty.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and problem-solving/consultative mindset.
• Spanish and English proficiency required (Portuguese as differential).
• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.
