The Strategy & Projects (S&P) team partners with stakeholders across Grab to drive continuous improvement and lead high-impact, data-driven initiatives. We generate business insights and manage cross-functional projects to support growth across Mobility, Deliveries (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress), and Groceries (Jaya Grocer, Everrise).

 

Get to know the Role:

The Manager, Platform Systems & Operations Integration will design, integrate, and optimise the technical systems behind our end-to-end e-commerce operations. This cross-functional role bridges Product, Tech, Operations, and Strategy, translating operational requirements into scalable system builds, automation, and analytics.

You will report to the Head, Loyalty & Digital Retail Strategy will be working onsite in Petaling Jaya.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Collaborate with Business and Tech teams to align product requirements, system logic, and API flows with operational needs.
• Build and integrate core retail systems (WMS, IMS, OMS, ERP, routing/dispatch, e-commerce platforms).
• Design automation frameworks to reduce manual steps, strengthen controls, and scale operations.
• Leverage analytics and light coding (SQL, Python, scripting) to diagnose issues, validate assumptions, and optimise system behaviour.
• Break down complex system or operational challenges into structured, data-driven solutions.

Scope:

• Product & Engineering Partnership: Translate operational needs into product specs, system logic, and integration requirements.
• Retail Systems Architecture & Integration: Lead configuration and integration of core e-commerce and fulfilment systems.
• Automation & Technical Enablement: Streamline workflows, build alerts, checks, and micro-automation to reduce complexity.
• Data Analytics & Diagnostics: Develop dashboards and tools to monitor system health, routing, inventory, and fulfilment KPIs; use data to drive improvements.

Essential Skills You Will Need

• 5–8 years' experience in product management, e-commerce systems, platform integrations, technical operations, or fulfilment technology.
• Hands-on experience with retail tech (WMS, IMS, OMS, ERP) and system configurations.
• Technical skills: coding/scripting (Python, JavaScript), API flows, logs, payloads, and JSON schemas.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience building analytical models or dashboards.
• Ability to translate operational workflows into structured system logic and decision rules.
• Experience driving system integrations, UAT, and end-to-end operational testing.
• Strong cross-functional communication, particularly with Product and Engineering teams.
