Job Summary
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dedicated Manager - Planning and Performance to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for the oversight and management of planning and project controls for various large-scale development initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset and is experienced in advanced project control methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of major projects that align with Qiddiya's ambitious vision.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective planning and project control strategies across multiple projects within the Qiddiya portfolio.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules using industry-standard software.
• Facilitate project monitoring activities, ensuring accurate tracking of progress against agreed baselines.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation measures to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and costs.
• Collaborate closely with various teams, including engineering, construction, and finance, to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure compliance with project controls procedures.
• Mentor and lead the project controls team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions and post-project reviews to capture insights beneficial for future projects.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in planning and project controls management within large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning tools, particularly Oracle Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including risk management and earned value management (EVM).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide a team of project control professionals.
• Experience in the entertainment, leisure, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly desirable.
