This leader will translate business priorities into scalable analytics solutions, elevate data literacy and storytelling across the organization, and ensure our dashboards and reporting capabilities evolve alongside the needs of a fast-growing EV company.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role - ideal for someone who can zoom out to see the big picture while also diving deep into data, systems and stakeholder needs, delivering strategic insights to inform broad business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent communication, and collaboration skills with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization.

You Will:

• Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs and applying contextual knowledge to scope data requests, define success metrics, synthesize insights and recommend solutions.

• Build and lead a team of data analysts ensuring the team is productive, engaged, and thriving in their career.

• Build people analytics tools (e.g., dashboards, reports) and practices to measure and quantify effectiveness of our people programs and processes and report on overall organizational health.

• Partner with and influence relevant colleagues on building/enhancing the infrastructure that allows for robust quantitative and qualitative data feeds across the entire employee lifecycle (e.g., candidate experience, onboarding, promotion, exit).

• Manage all reporting and analytics requests related to people data, and drive insights for HR leadership and cross-functional leaders to inform design decisions related to strategic talent initiatives.

• Communicate statistical analyses and results, along with implications, to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop processes to support planning and execution for a team of data analysts in an efficient and scalable manner (e.g. road mapping, code sharing, automation of repetitive tasks).

You Bring:

• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience in in HR Analytics, TA Analytics, Workforce Planning, and/or a related data analytics field

• Strong expertise in Tableau (dashboard design, data modeling, governance, and roadmap ownership) or other best in class BI tools

• Proficiency in managing large datasets using Amazon Redshift or similar data warehouse platform

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with HRIS, ATS, and other people‑data systems

• Advanced expertise in Excel

• Experience translating ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches

• Experience with ensuring end-to-end data integrity across systems by partnering with business owners and IT teams to resolve inconsistencies and drive data governance across multiple data sources

• Strong data visualization and data storytelling skills tailored to all levels and audiences, resulting in clear and actionable recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver data insights in a fast‑paced environment

• Ability to influence key stakeholders and leadership on People Analytics priorities and strategy as well as communicate overall organizational health

• Track record of people management; ability to effectively lead a data analytics team, from both a technical and people leadership perspective, and align work with business strategy

• Strong domain knowledge of TA or People functions and processes

• Research, evaluate and innovate where AI can be utilized to progress People Analytics at Lucid long term

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non‑technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-growth, manufacturing, automotive, or technology environment

• Background in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning applied to workforce data

• Experience building or contributing to a People Analytics Center of Excellence

• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and ethical considerations in People data

• Ability to coach and mentor analysts or cross-functional partners on data literacy
