Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for an OFCI Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment from PO release through delivery to site. This role is intended to bridge the gap between the Procurement and Project Management (PM) teams, ensuring clear ownership, visibility, and coordination across all phases of equipment execution.
The position manages mechanical and electrical OFCI equipment for both the main campus and substation, coordinating closely with vendors, procurement, cost management, and site construction teams to mitigate schedule, cost, and delivery risks.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% for company gatherings or to project sites.
Location: Denver, CO (3 day hybrid in-office role)
Compensation: $130-$165K (Offers Bonus)
Essential Responsibilities
OFCI Equipment Management & Tracking
• Own end-to-end tracking of all OFCI equipment from PO issuance through onsite delivery
• Maintain a comprehensive OFCI equipment log, including:
• o Submittal status
• o Approved for fabrication dates
• o Production and fabrication milestones
• o Delivery dates and sequencing
• Provide regular status updates to PM, Procurement, and Construction teams
Submittals & Documentation
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer to track all OFCI submittals from initial submission through approval
• Coordinate with engineering, PMs, and vendors to resolve submittal comments and prevent downstream delays
• Ensure submittal approvals align with fabrication and delivery timelines
Production, Fabrication & Vendor Coordination
• Actively track vendor production and fabrication progress
• Coordinate with vendors to identify risks to schedule, material availability, or manufacturing capacity
• Escalate delays or concerns early with recommended mitigation strategies
• Support expediting efforts where schedule recovery is required
Delivery, Transit & Storage Coordination
• Track equipment through transit and delivery to site
• Coordinate delivery sequencing with site construction teams to align with installation readiness
• Coordinate offsite or onsite storage solutions, including laydown requirements and duration
• Ensure proper handling requirements are identified (oversized loads, escorts, special handling)
Site Readiness & Installation Coordination
• Coordinate with PMs and construction teams to confirm site readiness prior to delivery, including:
• Equipment pads and foundations in place
• Access routes, clearances, and staging areas
• Rigging plans and crane availability
• Align delivery timing with installation windows to avoid rehandling or storage delays
Rigging & Installation Support
• Coordinate with construction and rigging teams on:
• Equipment weights, dimensions, and lift plans
• Special rigging or handling requirements
• Ensure logistics planning supports safe and efficient installation
Cost Management & Invoicing
• Coordinate closely with Cost Management and Procurement teams on:
• Invoice tracking and validation
• Alignment of invoices to delivery and contract milestones
• Identify cost risks related to delays, storage, expediting, or rehandling
Tariffs, Market Impacts & Risk Management
• Monitor and communicate impacts related to:
• Tariff changes
• Market volatility
• Supply chain disruptions
• Support Procurement and PM teams with documentation and schedule/cost impact assessments
Cross Functional Coordination
• Serve as the primary single point of contact for OFCI logistics across:
• Procurement
• PM teams
• Cost management
• Vendors
• Site construction teams
• Facilitate alignment meetings and maintain clear lines of communication
Recommended Additional Responsibilities (Best Practice)
• Develop and maintain standard OFCI logistics processes, templates, and reporting
• Support creation and maintenance of the OFCI RACI
• Flag scope gaps or responsibility overlaps early
• Support schedule recovery efforts related to OFCI equipment
• Capture lessons learned to improve logistics execution on future projects
• Support commissioning readiness by ensuring equipment delivery aligns with turnover and Cx milestones
Success Metrics
• On-time delivery of OFCI equipment aligned with construction schedule
• Reduced equipment related schedule impacts
• Improved visibility and accountability across Procurement and PM teams
• Fewer lastminute expediting and storage costs
• Clear, consistent communication across stakeholders
Education, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
• In lieu of degree: 8+ years of relevant logistics/procurement/project execution experience supporting construction or industrial projects (data centers, MEP-heavy builds, energy/substation, manufacturing, etc.)
• Experience with ProCore or other Construction Management tools
