Job Description
Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) is a newly established German-Ukrainian defence joint venture between Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics, created under the Build with Ukraine initiative. For the first time, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on an industrial scale in Europe, combining Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology with German industrial automation to create a new model of cross-border defence co-production: the German Model.
As Manager of Logistics, you will lead and optimize all processes related to internal and external logistics for our advanced UAV production line. You will ensure that every component and system flows seamlessly through the supply chain, enabling timely and efficient delivery to the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
You will work closely with stakeholders from Production Planning, Flight Test, Supply Chain, and Quality Control to guarantee operational excellence and compliance with NATO standards.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
• Optimize and configure logistics processes across receiving, warehousing, kitting, line-feeding, shipping, and reverse logistics.
• Coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary logistics team, including warehouse operators and shipping specialists; set clear goals and foster high performance.
• Plan and oversee departmental resources and timelines, align material availability with production schedules, and mitigate risks such as shortages or delays.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and maintain smooth material flow.
• Organize and maintain logistics data, KPIs, and exception handling, including inventory accuracy, OTIF, and shipping lead times.
• Prepare documentation and SOPs, and act as a key stakeholder in export/customs compliance and dangerous goods handling (e.g., batteries).
