What you'll do:
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Oversee all financial operations across Howells and Columbus locations
Partner with leadership to develop and manage company budgets
Analyze financial performance and provide insights on profitability by category
Support long-term financial growth and strategic planning initiatives
Participate in lending negotiations and assist in preparation for financial meetings
Represent the company in financial discussions with banks, boards, and external partners
Operational Management
Develop and implement consistent financial management practices
Evaluate and manage financial systems and software; recommend improvements
Identify process efficiencies and implement operational enhancements
Support financial due diligence for expansion opportunities and business studies
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members and trainees
Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented work environment
Assess workload distribution and recommend staffing adjustments as needed
Collaboration & Communication
Meet regularly with leadership to review performance, challenges, and opportunities
Communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Ensure alignment with company values and business philosophy across all initiatives
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial management, operations, or leadership role
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Experience managing financial systems and business software
Proven leadership and team development experience
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
