Responsibilities for the Senior Manager of SEC, External Reporting and Technical job:
• Responsible for the timely preparation of annual and periodic SEC filings.
• Coordinate financial statement reviews and
• Work closely with internal and external legal counsel on SEC registration statements and proxy reporting.
• Proactively identify research, communicate and draft technical memorandums
• Research and implement new accounting standards and provide guidance to businesses as required.
• Function as the primary liaison with external auditors
• Provide support and work with internal audit team to maintain and review internal control documentation and ensure compliance of controls around the Reporting area.
• Manage internal financial statement and Sarbanes-Oxley management representation process.
• Oversee the monthly basic and diluted share calculations including the related reconciliations and reporting matters.
• Undertake and manage special projects as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA required.
• Minimum of seven years’ of progressive work experience in Big 4 or combination of Big 4 and industry accounting experience.
• Skilled in US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations is required.
• Strong technical research skills and the ability to summarize and communicate research results effectively.
• Ability to delegate and manage multiple projects / priorities, well organized, pragmatic, and grasps business issues.
