Job Title: Manager of Analytics

Job Overview:
We’re helping our client find a Manager, Analytics to lead advanced analytics initiatives across Retail, Brand, Innovation, and Affiliate channels.
In this role, you will own end-to-end analytical workstreams, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive commercial decision-making. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Retail, Finance, and Leadership, while building advanced models, experimentation frameworks, and performance narratives that guide strategy and growth.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role designed for someone who can operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Advanced Analytics & Insight Leadership
• Lead end-to-end analytics across Retail, Brand, Innovation, and Affiliate channels
• Frame business problems, define analytical approaches, and deliver actionable insights
• Identify performance drivers and provide clear recommendations (what happened, why, what next)
• Build and maintain advanced analytical models and experimentation frameworks
Marketing Measurement & Modeling
• Develop attribution models and media mix modeling frameworks
• Design and analyze experiments to measure incrementality and ROI
• Apply machine learning models (churn, segmentation, response modeling)
Data & Technical Execution
• Write and manage complex SQL queries across large-scale data warehouses
• Work within cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery)
• Partner with data engineering teams to automate workflows and datasets
• Build dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
Retail Analytics (Omnichannel)
• Analyze the impact of physical retail stores on overall business performance
• Evaluate customer acquisition, halo effects, and cross-channel interactions
• Support retail expansion and optimization decisions
Innovation Analytics
• Conduct market sizing and performance analysis for new products or concepts
• Analyze trial, repeat behavior, and cohort performance
• Assess cannibalization and product/channel overlap
Brand Analytics
• Evaluate customer behavior (trial, repeat, engagement)
• Support campaign and product launch performance analysis
• Drive insights focused on long-term customer value
Affiliate Analytics
• Analyze Brand Consultant performance across cohorts
• Evaluate effectiveness of affiliate programs and incentives
• Build cohort frameworks and track engagement over time
• Provide recommendations to improve affiliate performance
Financial & Cross-Functional Partnership
• Align analytics with financial metrics (CAC, margin, COGS, etc.)
• Partner with Finance to support planning and decision-making
• Connect customer behavior insights to financial outcomes
Communication & Stakeholder Management
• Translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights
• Present recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders
• Adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences
• Simplify complex problems and highlight key business drivers
Requirements:
• 7+ years in analytics, data science, or marketing analytics
• Experience in consumer, retail, DTC, or omnichannel environments preferred
• Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) is a plus
• Expert SQL (large-scale data environments)
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/BigQuery preferred)
• Strong machine learning and statistical modeling experience:
• Churn & retention modeling
• Predictive segmentation
• Regression & classification
• Strong foundation in:
• Hypothesis testing
• Experimental design
• Statistical inference
• Dashboarding experience (Power BI preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial concepts (CAC, margins, etc.)
• Ability to translate data into business insights
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable presenting to leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Math, Computer Science)
