Reporting of the role

This role reports to: Associate Director

In this role, your goals will be: In three months:

• Begun to develop relationships with the key day-to-day team – Client, internal teams including performance/Nexus teams and local market teams based in SEA markets, Global/Emerging market hub teams and key media partners.

• Have a clear understanding of globally defined media thresholds and sufficiency exercise, target reach by brand/product campaigns, BAV and attention metrics, and past campaign benchmarks.

• Have a clear understanding of the day-to-day implementation and reporting cadence agreed with the client.

• Cross function management, especially with local market teams through collaboration

In six months:

• Responsible for end-to-end client servicing and planning for brand campaigns and leading the weekly connects with client.

• Build strategy based on insights and determine channel selection for media campaigns accordingly.

• Innovation led thinking – Propose ideas with help of partners and local teams which are first in category / industry and are award worthy.

• Rigor in setting and tracking campaign KPIs. Ensure effective and accurate optimisation and delivery of performance utilising all relevant internal teams, agency processes and tech.

• Understanding of full-funnel synergy and ensuring cross-utilisation of audience from brand campaigns to eCommerce campaigns and measuring the success.

• Contribute to the annual planning to build strategic response to the annual KPIs briefed for Brand (eg: awareness uplifts, SOS, etc)

In 12 months:

• Ensure that client servicing is best in class and does results in good feedback from client during bi-annual ratings.

• Ensure cost guarantees are met wherever committed.

• Ensure client is kept up to date on the media landscape, providing necessary media information and updates and competitor reports.

What you’ll bring:

• Developing innovative and effective media and communication solutions in response to client briefs

• Ensuring creativity, accuracy, and timely output across the portfolio.

• You will have a strong point of view on the digital landscape and client performance, and will be comfortable presenting new, innovative thinking to clients.

• Your success will be measured through success in team engagement, delivering award-worthy case studies, impressive feedback scores from clients and year on year delivery against targets.

Minimum qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in communication or media or business management (post-graduate/masters preferred)

• At least 5 years in media planning experience or related field required.

• Understands Digital media thoroughly and has a good understanding of offline media, to be able to develop integrate media strategies.

• Familiar with SEA media landscape and GenZ trends / media behaviour.

• Knowledgeable about and experienced with the concepts, approaches and issues involved in tactical media planning.

• Familiar with the timelines, processes and needs of the implementation of all media.

• Knowledgeable about new approaches to and developments in tactical planning

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving.

• Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.

• Ability to make decisions and use critical thinking.

• Knowledge and use of various research systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Capability to operate effectively in a dynamic, adaptable, agile environment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to manage diverse conversations with various stakeholders. (internal and external)
