• Manage a portfolio of donors with the demonstrated capacity to make NPR Network gifts in the $10K-25K range; Articulate donor strategies and demonstrate a disciplined focus on moving prospects through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship phases. As needed, navigate joint solicitation strategies for key prospects, partnering with teams at NPR and Member stations to ensure a seamless donor experience.

• Support the design and implementation of pilot fundraising initiatives that serve as a blueprint for the NPR Network; influence best practices for mid-level donor engagement across the public media sector.

• Maintain meticulous records in Salesforce, ensuring that interactions are captured, tracked and reported in a timely manner.

• Communicate frequently with colleagues, sharing activity and progress regularly to foster a collaborative fundraising environment.

• Exemplify fundraising best practices and a high level of ethics in all activities

The above duties and responsibilities are not an exhaustive list of required responsibilities, duties and skills. Other duties may be assigned, and this job description can be modified at any time.

• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work closely and professionally with a wide range of constituents, including staff, board members, Member stations, external partners and donors/prospects. Especially balancing needs while keeping the donor's intent central.

• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platform as a tool for tracking and data-driven decision-making; Translate complex donor activity and data into insights that inform strategy.
