Job Description

Collegium Pharmaceutical is building a leading, diversified biopharmaceutical company committed to improving the lives of people living with serious medical conditions. We have a leading portfolio of responsible pain management and neuropsychiatry medications.

Hybrid: Required to be onsite in Stoughton, MA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager, Internal Communications will help inform, engage, and inspire employees across the organization. This role is responsible for day-to-day internal communications strategy and execution, including ownership of the company intranet, cross-functional messaging, employee engagement moments, and select executive communications support. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and project manager who enjoys building structure, partnering with HR and business leaders, and creating content that brings our culture and strategy to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Channels & Content
• Own content strategy, governance, and updates for the company intranet.
• Maintain a publishing calendar and ensure content is accurate, timely, and relevant.
• Monitor channel analytics and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Employee Communications & Engagement
• Partner closely with HR to support messaging on employee programs, benefits, culture, and values.
• Support planning and execution of all-employee meetings, including messaging, agenda development, run-of-show, visuals, and post-event communications.
• Draft internal announcements, talking points, leadership emails, FAQs, and other supporting materials.
• Ensure editorial consistency, tone, and alignment across internal channels and stakeholders.

Community & Corporate Engagement
• Coordinate and promote volunteer events and employee community engagement opportunities.
• Manage relationships with select community relations partners and nonprofits.
• Highlight employee participation, community impact, and milestones across internal platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
• Partner with HR, IT, and business functions to align timing and messaging.
• Build tools, templates, and process that streamline content development and review.
• Support internal readiness and change communications for company announcements, organization updates, or transformation efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, corporate communications, or similar roles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience managing internal communications channels (e.g., intranet, newsletter, collaboration tools).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Comfort interacting with leaders and translating complex information into clear, accessible content.
• Experience in biotech/pharma, life sciences, or other regulated industries preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or other intranet/communications platform a plus.

Pay Range
$140,200—$153,000 USD
