Your Leadership in Action 
The HTM Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability of all medical equipment and clinical technologies within the organization. This role ensures that clinical engineering services support high-quality patient care by providing leadership, technical expertise, and strategic planning related to the acquisition, maintenance, and optimization of healthcare technology.
• Lead daily HTM operations, ensuring timely service, repairs, preventive maintenance, and high‑quality technical support.
• Oversee staffing, workload assignment, technician development, and performance management while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate CMMS documentation, and lead readiness for surveys and incident investigations.
• Manage equipment lifecycle planning, vendor contracts, budgeting, capital planning, and financial stewardship.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clinical departments; resolve escalated issues; guide safe device use; and support technology evaluations, upgrades, and system‑wide initiatives.
• This position serves and supports all hospitals within the Munson Healthcare system.
 
What’s Required  
• Associate’s degree in Biomedical/Clinical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; military training equivalent accepted.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare technology management, biomedical engineering, or clinical engineering.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Proven experience managing equipment inventories, service contracts, capital planning, and regulatory readiness.
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, CMS, NFPA 99, DNV).
• Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management skills.
