We are currently looking for a Manager, GSO to join us.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
•
Gain a solid understanding of our organizational processes and workflows.
•
Take full ownership of existing GSO projects, ensuring smooth execution and measurable results.
•
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across our agencies and client accounts.
In six months:
•
Drive measurable growth and consistently exceed client expectations.
•
Integrate AI into SEO workflows for enhanced insights, leveraging both third-party tools and our proprietary SEO suite.
•
Mentor and train the team to deliver exceptional work with outstanding time management and efficiency.
In 12 months:
•
Retention and growth of Agency GSO business and revenue target.
•
Development of client training/workshop proposition to include: creds, sales collateral and training materials.
What your day job looks like:
The appointee will be responsible for the effective delivery of client GSO services either directly, or by contributing to projects managed by other team members. There may also be communication with other WPP Media offices and external vendors.
Agency Partner:
· To ensure delivery of existing business and maintain quality and satisfaction.
· To identify and build relationships with key stakeholders within the agencies.
· To support and encourage new business to meet agency targets.
· To be an evangelist for complete GSO offering within the Agencies and to increase staff competencies for effective delivery.
Specialist Area:
· To be a knowledge owner for SEO and AI Search and actively develop and share this knowledge with the team as well as provide / lead delivery.
· To support the further development of GSO as a discrete offering by the team to support existing agency content offerings.
Sales & Operations
· Refine sales proposition and supporting processes for delivery.
· Train, manage, mentor and develop direct reports to be successful in their role and grow in their careers.
· Identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities with Agency offerings.
· Work with the Director, GSO to create sales proposals and support RFPs with tangible data references, where appropriate.
Skills and Experience

· 5-6 years of extensive experience in core SEO.
· Sees the big picture, yet pays attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
· Strong technical SEO foundation with experience in conducting complex website audits.
· Content Creation & Optimisation in both Chinese and English. APAC experience is a plus.
· Comfortable in handling large amounts of data and can effectively visualize data into clear insights.
· Constantly learning and being resourceful with a history of leveraging SEO and AI tools to track performance and streamline workflows is an advantage.
· Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Traditional/Simplified)
Any kind of expertise in any of the following areas would be preferable:
· Exhibit grasp on JavaScript, CSS and HTML put together and their impact on page performance and content delivery.
· Experience in using SEO Tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog etc.
· Knowledge in Python or SQL is preferrable but not essential.
