What We Need:
Reporting to the Director, Global Product Marketing—and supporting the full Global Brand and Product Marketing team—the Manager will play a key role in driving key marketing initiatives to explore new markets, marketing channels and technologies to encourage adoption, engagement, and retention, and drive meaningful business outcomes enabling NBA 2K to grow.

Facilitate communications and prioritization between Product, Creative & Player Services, Partners, and other Cross-Functional teams supporting business goals. The PMM should have a deep understanding of the NBA 2K experience, delivering compelling content and campaigns that motivate players to engage with NBA 2K. This includes creating and delivering content against key moments in the player’s journey by leveraging behavioral insights, transactional data and creative storytelling, to deliver timely, relevant, and high-impact messaging content to our players.

The Manager will be part of a team that values innovation, player connection and drives Product Marketing strategy. Building strong relationships both within and across teams is essential to success in this role. You’ll work closely with the Director, Product Marketing to stay aligned, prioritize effectively, and help bring ideas to life through true cross-functional collaboration. This role requires someone who can pivot quickly, take initiative, and bring strong attention to detail while operating in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with PM team on creation of new IP product positioning and marketing campaigns focused on servicing the player throughout the lifecycle through awareness and retention campaigns.

• Partner with Developers, Product and Commercial to drive marketing workstreams for new technology and innovation.

• Manage creative briefing, marketing execution and communication of existing and new products throughout the lifecycle—optimizing and driving increased adoption and sustained engagement.

• Work with marketing channel leads and creative producers to develop briefs and ensure assets are delivered on time and aligned with campaign goals across owned, paid, and earned marketing channels.

• Effectively manage Product Marketing content delivery operations to cross-functional partners, including in-game content campaigns and associated creative assets across channels such as Push Notifications, In-Game, CRM, and Social.

What Will Make You A Great Fit:

We are looking for a GOOD human with a collaborative working style.

• 3-4 years of video game marketing experience preferred

• Experience and knowledge with NBA 2K and the various modes, sports, RPG and live service video games - interest in PC gaming preferred

• Professional and Collegiate basketball fan with considerable knowledge across leagues

• Experience working with social platforms and channel-specific workflows including creative turnaround speeds, approval processes and community engagement best practices

• Able to effectively interpret data and telemetry to translate into actionable marketing workstreams

• Passion for innovative content creation, with efficient planning and delivery

• Experience in CRM, engagement/lifecycle marketing, or mobile adjacent technologies

• Detail-oriented with an eye for optimizing processes and workflows

• Organized, deadline and detail oriented mentality is key to success

• Able to effectively communicate information via cross-platform communication tools

• Comfort with project management software, like Monday.com or Miro is a plus.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per Year.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an ~at-will position~ and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
