Manager, Funds & Corporate Services

IQ-EQ is a leading Investor Services group which combines global expertise with an unwavering focus on client service delivery. We support fund managers, global companies, family offices and private clients operating worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive client manager with knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP to join our team based in Cape Town. 

In this role you will act as a client manager, overseeing back office work performed by our Global Client Delivery centres (India and Mauritius). You will hold responsibility for the full review function, auditor, and client liaison.

What you'll do

• You'll manage and coach a team to ensure agreed deadlines are adhered to
• Deliver the financial info to clients/auditors and assist with any technical comments and questions
• Technical review of AFS and ensure AFS is in accordance with the applicable reporting framework
• Look for inefficiencies in our clients’ systems and processes and enhance them whilst performing research to obtain the best solution for clients
• Prepare and detail review financial statements.

• A CA (SA) qualification
• Knowledge and insight of the accounting sector (at all levels e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, Fund Structures, Fund accounting and knowledge of management accounting, e.g. VAT, payroll, secretarial, etc.)
• At least 2 years post articles experience if already a manager / At least 3 years post articles experience if not a manager
• Experience managing teams
• Experience reviewing financial Statements.
