Manager - ESG Assurance

Our ESG Advisory & Assurance (Sustainability) team works with organisations to help them manage the risks and opportunities associated with non-financial issues, and to enhance all aspects of reporting and communication. We also provide assurance services for a range of non-financial disclosures, reports and regulatory filings to enhance the credibility of reported information. Your Opportunity

To support our vibrant and growing Climate Change and Sustainability services team we have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our team in Melbourne.  

As a Manager within our team you will have the opportunity to build trusted networks with our prestigious clients, project manage assurance engagements from end to end, apply your technical knowledge in leading assurance projects, and grow your personal knowledge in this dynamic and exciting field.

• You are a people-person with a love of sharing your Sustainability Assurance insight and tailoring your communication appropriately for subject matter experts and clients who want to learn more. 
• You are focused on project management and quality delivery, with an ability for big-picture thinking and the accountability to see projects through from beginning to end; such as establishing project details, performance measurement baselines, key milestones, work breakdown structures, and resource planning.

• Experience with Emissions assurance audits.
• Knowledge and experience of international sustainability frameworks and guidelines and standards.
• Knowledge of the following would be beneficial: Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmarks (GRESB), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme, Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
• Knowledge of and practical ability to apply International and/or Australian Auditing Standards (ISAE and ASAE) is essential.
• Ability to conduct technical and high-quality analysis of ESG processes and data measurement, including benchmarking organisational performance.
• Strong assurance knowledge and experience including planning, risk assessments, designing the assurance approach and procedures, testing and analysis, review, and reporting.
