Manager, Digital Monetization & Affiliate Strategy

The World Poker Tour (WPT) is the premier name in internationally televised gaming and
entertainment. We are looking for a data-driven Digital Marketer to unlock the full potential of
our media assets.

In this role, you will be the bridge between WPT’s massive audience (TV & Web) and our
gaming products. Your primary directive is to monetize worldpokertour.com and our TV content
by optimizing the conversion funnel specifically for our sister site, ClubWPT Gold.

You won't just be managing content; you will be managing yield. You will treat WPT’s media site
as a high-performance affiliate, ensuring every article, banner, and TV spot is optimized to drive
maximum player acquisitions.

What You’ll Do:
• Website Monetization & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Take ownership of the worldpokertour.com traffic funnel. Analyze user behavior to identify high-intent pages and implement strategies to convert readers into ClubWPT Gold sign-ups.
• Strategically manage on-site inventory (banners, in-text links, pop-ups, and widgets) to maximize Click-Through Rate (CTR) and conversion value without degrading the user experience.
• Conduct A/B tests on landing pages, Call-to-Action (CTA) placement, and creative assets to improve affiliate performance.

• Content Strategy for Acquisition
• Collaborate with the editorial team to develop "commercial content" (e.g.,How to Play, Strategy Guides,Poker Room Reviews) that ranks for high-intent keywords and drives traffic directly to ClubWPT Gold.
• Ensure all SEO efforts are aligned with monetization goals, balancing high-traffic keywords with high-conversion keywords.

• TV-to-Digital Integration
• Develop digital catch-nets for our TV audience. Work on strategies to capture linear TV viewers (via QR codes, vanity URLs, and second-screen experiences) and funnel them into the digital ecosystem.
• Create specific landing pages that align with current TV broadcasts to ensure message continuity and higher conversion rates.

• Analytics & Reporting
• Track, measure, and report on the performance of WPT traffic sent to ClubWPT Gold.
• Monitor key metrics: Impressions, CTR, Conversion Rate, Cost Per Acquisition (internal equivalent), and Player Value.
• Manage affiliate tracking links and attribution to ensure data accuracy between the media site and the poker platform.

What We’re Looking For:
• 3–5+ years in Digital Marketing, specifically within Affiliate Management, Media Buying, or Publisher/Site Monetization.
• Experience in iGaming, Poker, Sports Betting, or a similar high-compliance, high-transaction industry is strongly preferred.
• The "Publisher" Mindset: You understand how large media sites monetize traffic. You know the difference between a standard blog post and a high-converting affiliate review.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), WordPress (or similar CMS), and Affiliate Tracking Software. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for tracking code implementation is a plus.
• Data-Driven: You make decisions based on spreadsheet data, not gut feeling. You live in the metrics of CTR and Conversion %.
