Role Overview

As Design Manager – Digital, Interaction & UI/UX, you’ll lead the evolution of Glance AI’s digital and product-facing visual experiences. You’ll be responsible for shaping how users interact with the brand across surfaces—social, product, web, and emerging platforms—balancing brand expression with usability, clarity, and performance.

This role blends hands-on design leadership with strategic ownership. You’ll guide multidisciplinary designers while actively designing digital-first experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and culturally relevant—especially for US consumers.

Key Responsibilities

Digital, Interaction & UI/UX Leadership

• Own the design direction for digital experiences, including product surfaces, web, social platforms, and interactive brand touchpoints.
• Lead UI/UX thinking—from user journeys and wireframes to high-fidelity design systems—ensuring experiences are intuitive, scalable, and on-brand.
• Design and oversee interaction patterns, motion behaviors, and micro-interactionsthat elevate usability and engagement.

Campaigns & Multidisciplinary Design

• Translate campaign ideas into digital-first and interaction-led executions, ensuring strong continuity across brand, product, and marketing surfaces.
• Collaborate closely with copy, product, engineering, motion, and strategy teams to bring concepts to life across platforms.
• Maintain a high bar for craft across static, motion, and interactive formats.

Social & Platform-Native Design

• Lead social-first and platform-native design systems—optimizing for performance, engagement, and evolving platform behaviors.
• Design and review content across feeds, stories, short-form video, and emerging interactive formats.

Design Systems & Consistency

• Build and evolve design systemsthat balance brand expression with usability across digital and product environments.
• Ensure visual and interaction consistency across geographies, devices, and platforms.

Trend, Culture & Innovation

• Stay ahead of digital design trends, interaction patterns, and UX best practices, with a strong pulse on US consumer behavior.
• Explore and integrate AI-driven design toolsand emerging technologies to improve speed, experimentation, and creative output.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of multidisciplinary designers, fostering strong digital and UX capabilities.
• Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and quality control across projects.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align design outcomes with business and product goals.

What We’re Looking For

• 8–10 years of experiencein digital design, UI/UX, or interaction design, with managerial experience leading design teams.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end digital thinking—UX flows, interaction design, and polished UI across platforms.
• Strong experience designing for products, platforms, or digital ecosystems, not just marketing visuals.
• Proven ability to bridge brand, marketing, and product design seamlessly.
• Experience in fashion, tech, consumer apps, or content platforms preferred.
• Deep understanding of US digital behaviors and platform conventions.
• Comfort collaborating with product managers and engineers in fast-moving environments.
• Hands-on mindset with openness to AI-powered and emerging design tools.
• A leader who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and elevates both ideas and people.
