Role Overview

As Design Manager, you’ll lead the evolution of Glance AI’s visual identity across campaigns, platforms, and global markets. You’ll set the creative bar, guide a team of designers, and partner closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver visually powerful, culturally relevant work. With a strong grasp of pop culture and consumer behavior—especially in the US—you’ll ensure Glance AI’s design stays distinctive, scalable, and future-forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership:Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, setting high standards for craft, creativity, and execution.
• Visual Strategy & Direction: Define and evolve Glance AI’s visual language across campaigns, social, and brand touchpoints—ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact.
• Campaign Ownership: Partner with creative, copy, motion, and strategy leads to shape and execute integrated, concept-driven campaigns from idea to launch.
• Social-First Excellence: Oversee social design systems and content, ensuring work is engaging, culturally relevant, and optimized for digital platforms.
• Trend & Culture Leadership: Stay ahead of shifts in fashion, tech, and American pop culture; translate insights into proactive creative opportunities for the brand.
• Multi-Format Oversight: Guide design across static, motion, short-form video, films, presentations, and large-scale brand assets.
• Global Lens: Lead design solutions for international markets, with strong sensitivity to US audiences while maintaining global consistency and scalability.
• AI & Innovation: Champion experimentation with AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies to improve speed, quality, and creative exploration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to marketing, product, content, and leadership teams in a fast-paced start-up environment.

What We’re Looking For

• 8–10 years of experiencein graphic or visual design, with at least 2–3 years in a people-management or lead role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing large-scale campaigns, social-first systems, and high-quality brand design.
• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, media, or tech categories preferred.
• Proven ability to lead digital-first and motion-forward creative work.
• Deep understanding of US consumer sensibilities and contemporary pop culture.
• Experience designing for global or multi-market brands.
• A confident, collaborative leader who balances creative vision with executional rigor.
• Comfort using and advocating for AI and emerging tools within the creative workflow.
