About the Team
Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re-inventing the way consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail delivery through both our first-party and third-party operations businesses. DashMart is our first-party offering which serves as a fulfillment platform for DoorDash customers when they need essential items in a hurry – including groceries, household essentials, local favorites and so much more. We have sites all over the country and are expanding the selection we carry and services we offer our customers today!
About the Role
As Manager on our DashMart Strategy & Operations team focused on CPG partnerships - you will define and lead the strategic growth agenda for DashMart’s CPG monetization strategy and operations. This individual will lead the strategy, execution, and cross-functional coordination required to grow DashMart-specific CPG investment across Ads, Trade, Promotions, and emerging capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of Ads monetization, trade investment strategy, and go-to-market execution—shaping how brands invest across DashMart and unlocking scalable growth opportunities. This role requires a highly strategic and operational leader who can influence cross-functional stakeholders, develop scalable monetization frameworks, and drive execution across a rapidly evolving CPG ecosystem.
You will report into the Senior Manager on or DashMart Strategy & Operations within our New Verticals organization and you will directly manage a team of 2+ individuals. This is a hybrid role, with a blend of in-office and remote work.

• Grow investment dollars. You will lead the strategy and execution in regards to how we grow CPG investments and pull DashMart-specific monetization levers
• Collaborate. You will serve as the primary liaison between DashMart Strategy & Operations and our Ads organization to drive alignment on negotiation strategies and work towards one goal. You will partner closely with Ads, Category Management, Vendor Management, etc.
• Own outcomes. You will own annual CPG planning relative to our DashMart business that will generate revenue, improve margins and manage risks proactively.
• Invest. You will drive execution of joint business plans between CPGs and DashMart
• Build. You will oversee our Emerging Brands efforts to ensure we can scale both enterprise brands and local favorites within our DashMart operating model.
We’re excited about you because…
• You have 6-8+ years of experience in a corporate strategy setting with focus on growing brands, partnering with enterprise CPGs or retailers and/or driving B2B growth.
• You are a people leader and ideally have at least 2 years of experience directly managing a team.
• You’re a tool builder and analytical thinker. You are fluent in using data to assess performance, track investment, and translate insights into clear recommendations for both brands and internal stakeholders. You have identified a systematic and automated approach through AI to improve manual processes.
• You understand the stakeholders. You have experience working cross-functionally both internally & externally with teams like Ads, Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Finance, Product, Engineering and client teams to execute complex, multi-threaded initiatives.
• You are an owner. You can independently manage multiple accounts and priorities, proactively flag risks, and drive follow-through without heavy oversight.
• You are an operator. You are comfortable operating in fast paced environments and building scalable processes as the business grows.
• You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in business, economics, marketing or communications.
Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:
• For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$136,000—$200,000 USD
